About the role

The organisation is committed to sourcing the strongest available talent to support the delivery of quality educational outcomes for students. The Manager - Strategic Recruitment position leads a small team of dedicated recruitment professionals to deliver on this commitment. The position also plays a key part in positioning BCE as an employer of choice, bringing the organisation’s unique employee value proposition to life for its candidates.

As the successful applicant, you will be accountable for leading the development, implementation and evaluation of contemporary talent acquisition strategies, programs, policies and practices. 
You will operate with a customer-centric mindset to provide advice and capability development to your internal clients in order to inform quality recruitment decision making at all levels of management, both in schools and the centralised functions.
Your personal integrity and ability to communicate and influence both inside and outside the organisation will be critical in this role. You will have a track record of rapidly building trust and credibility with internal and external stakeholders and partners. 

Your record of high performance in other senior recruitment roles, combined with demonstrated enterprise-wide leadership experience, will be essential to your success. A strong knowledge of applied psychometric assessment tools will also be beneficial.
Through your experience developing talent sourcing and recruitment strategies and practices, you’ll be able to point to the measurable impacts you’ve had elsewhere. You will share your expertise in thinking strategically about workforce issues and aligning recruitment practices and policies to a strategic plan. 

With an eye for business improvement and practical outcomes, your systems thinking and collaborative approach will see you working with educators and other professionals to drive real change in student outcomes. You will be future-focused, enjoy variety in your work and demonstrate support for the Catholic ethos.
